Denton County

Real Estate Photography in The Colony

The Colony is defined by water and by Grandscape, and both belong in the photos. Proximity to Lewisville Lake and to the retail and entertainment district is a real part of what a buyer is choosing here, and a listing set that ignores it is leaving value on the table.

Shooting The Colony

What the city does to the photos.

Lake proximity is the thing to photograph in The Colony, and it is almost always an aerial problem rather than a ground one. Homes on and around the peninsula have water and golf views that simply do not exist at eye level. The newer mixed-use areas on the Carrollton side have a different character again, more walkable and more urban, where street-level context shots do more than a drone would.

Questions

The Colony specifics

Can you show the lake or golf course from my listing?

Usually, yes, and it is worth doing. Where a home has a water or course view that only appears from height, an FAA-licensed aerial is the way to document it. We will tell you honestly at booking whether the view will actually read from the air.

How much does real estate photography cost in The Colony?

Packages start at $195 for HDR photos and a floor plan, $249 adds drone aerials, and $549 includes a cinematic listing film. Pricing covers homes up to 2,400 sq ft; larger properties are quoted per listing. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in our coverage area.

How fast will I get my The Colony photos back?

The next day, every time. Galleries arrive in MLS-ready and print resolutions, so you can list without resizing anything.
